Content is King - And Intelligence Will Rule in the Workplace

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Any business with the intention to grow and expand must realise that having concepts that improve things is what carries you and your company into the future. Intelligence and positive ideas should be nurtured and should be acknowledged thus that the corporate can grow.

The most common approach to business is to assume that the concepts that return from the managers and higher level workers can be of a heap of value. Not so. I’ve created it an integral part of my career to ask for out out what it’s that makes an plan a sensible one, and it’s often that it’s got some sensible application!

Who better to give us ideas about the practical applications of ideas than those who have to use them every day. I ask the people on the front line of my customer service business. I say: “If we could change one thing in your job, what would it be?” and I get great ideas!

The thing is that if we tend to need to urge something that works, we have got to ask the one who will be the top user of it. It simply does not matter how several degrees you have got, or how a ton of experience you have got with people, nothing substitutes for real data. Get out there and find your hands dirty. If you’re in marketing, ask your customers. If you are in client service, ask your customers.

If you do it the other way around, it’s similar to me telling you what you want. Now you wouldn’t like that very much would you:)

Management in business is therefore important to strive and do correctly. There are so much of ways in which to induce things right, however so many ways in which things can go wrong (if not thought of from the start). Take the time to analysis your field of expertise and build sturdy choices to move forward in the correct direction. Decisive action and sturdy leadership is one in all the foremost vital aspects of operating in any business.

You’re Only as Good as The Folks You Hang With, Welcome to Small Business Networking

Monday, December 14th, 2009

There’s literally thousands of business networking groups scattered around the world but many of them do not fare nearly as well as others.

Far too many sales people find this out the hard way and as a result, the reputation of small business networking has suffered in general.

From what I have experienced in business, there’s no shortage of opportunity but there is a shortage of professionally managed groups.

It would be worthwhile studying small business marketing close up.

These types of marketing networks are now quite common in most major towns & cities and ‘at first glance’ they do seem to be a workable idea. Have a think about this… you’re in a room to do the same thing as fifty or so other people in the room, talk about business & win an opportunity.

If you can talk without drooling & listen without dropping off to sleep, then you’ll do OK.

A well organized & managed business networking group does more than just provide you with an opportunity, they can also help businesses operating in specific niche markets.

There’s only one reason to be involved with these organizations & that is to make sales. Under the same umbrella, MLM (multi level marketing) has the added benefit of multi level commissions from sales people that you introduce into the business.

Network marketing in its most profitable state will provide on the spot commissions per sale. The obvious benefit to residual income is it just keeps ticking over

Check to see if the small business networking group that interests you, stacks up against the following -

Top Shelf Product: nothing sells better than accurate & concise information, the internet runs on it.

Instant Payment: Cash flow issues simply do not exist with payment on delivery models.

Residual Income: this may be the most important thing when looking at a business. This allows you to build your wealth without having to do more work.

Next to Zero Joining up Outlay: Cheap is good, free is better

A record of success: you want to make sure you are not only working with a sponsor that can help you, but also a company with a proven track record of success.

It’s only logical that the better business networking groups will attract higher calibre sponsors and in turn, higher calibre membership. All this means a better knowledge & support base.

To some degree, it’s irrelevant how talented your support network is, because when the flags drops, you have to run your own race on your own two legs.

Rubber Stamps Are Not Obsolete

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

What people may not realize is that the humble and compact rubber stamp is one of the most widely used office utensils in the world. Many people believe that in the lightening fast digital age where everything is instant there isn’t a need for rubber stamps anymore. The rubber stamp isn’t obsolete yet as there hasn’t been a machine (or a series of) that has been able to complete the same amount of tasks that a rubber stamp can fill. Rubber stamps are not obsolete with all the different types of stamps available they have many uses even outside the office.

Rubber stamps can come in a variety of designs such as hand held, pre-inked and self inking. The hand held stamp is the most traditional model. It is a stamp that is attached to a handle that can be wood, plastic, metal, etc. It is no secret how these stamps work, you press the stamp into the ink pad and then you press the stamp onto the paper to make the impression. This type of stamp has been around for hundreds of years and is still utilized today. Pre-inked stamps are different. These stamps only require an ink refill after several hundred imprints. The ink is stored in the sponge like material the stamp is made of. Self inking stamp is also quite different. These stamps house the ink pad inside the casing. When you press down on the handle the stamp is automatically inked and then it is turned away and makes the mark on the paper. Pre-inked and self inking stamps have become more popular in the office as they are compact and reliable. But hand held stamps are also gaining popularity for nostalgia purposes.

Address, endorsement, and signature stamps are used most commonly in the office. An address stamp can help a secretary easily mail out large quantities of mail. An endorsement stamp is comprised of the business logo or name which is used to mark official documents. Signature stamps are used by important people who have to sign a lot of papers at work. Instead of signing page after page resulting in hand cramps a person can simply stamp their signature.

Custom stamps are utilized by creative people such as artists. They can use a stamp to create a unique mark and stamp their artwork. An artist can mark their work for sale or even for an exhibition display. Or you can use a custom stamp to personalize everyday items at home.

Rubber stamps are not obsolete at all. Equally so they aren’t just for business people either. Anyone can find a usage for a rubber stamp whether you are mailing a dozen holiday cards, signing checks, or marking a painting rubber stamps are there to help.
