What people may not realize is that the humble and compact rubber stamp is one of the most widely used office utensils in the world. Many people believe that in the lightening fast digital age where everything is instant there isn’t a need for rubber stamps anymore. The rubber stamp isn’t obsolete yet as there hasn’t been a machine (or a series of) that has been able to complete the same amount of tasks that a rubber stamp can fill. Rubber stamps are not obsolete with all the different types of stamps available they have many uses even outside the office.
Rubber stamps can come in a variety of designs such as hand held, pre-inked and self inking. The hand held stamp is the most traditional model. It is a stamp that is attached to a handle that can be wood, plastic, metal, etc. It is no secret how these stamps work, you press the stamp into the ink pad and then you press the stamp onto the paper to make the impression. This type of stamp has been around for hundreds of years and is still utilized today. Pre-inked stamps are different. These stamps only require an ink refill after several hundred imprints. The ink is stored in the sponge like material the stamp is made of. Self inking stamp is also quite different. These stamps house the ink pad inside the casing. When you press down on the handle the stamp is automatically inked and then it is turned away and makes the mark on the paper. Pre-inked and self inking stamps have become more popular in the office as they are compact and reliable. But hand held stamps are also gaining popularity for nostalgia purposes.
Address, endorsement, and signature stamps are used most commonly in the office. An address stamp can help a secretary easily mail out large quantities of mail. An endorsement stamp is comprised of the business logo or name which is used to mark official documents. Signature stamps are used by important people who have to sign a lot of papers at work. Instead of signing page after page resulting in hand cramps a person can simply stamp their signature.
Custom stamps are utilized by creative people such as artists. They can use a stamp to create a unique mark and stamp their artwork. An artist can mark their work for sale or even for an exhibition display. Or you can use a custom stamp to personalize everyday items at home.
Rubber stamps are not obsolete at all. Equally so they aren’t just for business people either. Anyone can find a usage for a rubber stamp whether you are mailing a dozen holiday cards, signing checks, or marking a painting rubber stamps are there to help.

Many people believe that rubber stamps are obsolete. But in actuality they aren’t, rubber stamps are still widely used by business people and artists alike. They have many different applications with a set of amazing benefits.
Rubber stamps come in a variety of designs and shapes. One of the oldest forms of rubber stamps is the handled rubber stamp. These stamps are a simple design. They are a piece of rubber attached to a handle. This is the classic design of rubber stamp. Handled rubber stamps are usually collected by many people. Handled rubber stamps are accompanied by ink pads. As everyone is familiar with, the rubber stamp must be dipped into the pad before you can make in impression. The more advanced styles of rubber stamps are pre inked stamps and self inking stamps. Pre inked stamps are made of a sponge like rubber which absorbs and holds a large amount of ink. The pre inked stamps never need to be dipped into ink until the rubber sponge is completely dry. Self inking stamps are different. These kinds of stamps come in a little compartment which houses the rubber pad and ink separately. When you push down to make a mark the mechanism inside adds a sufficient amount of ink to the stamp. Both newer models are very convenient and found in offices.
As diverse as the designs are there are an equal amount of applications one can use a stamp for. One common stamp is the address stamp. Address stamps are used to print the return address onto letters and packages. Being able to quickly stamp the return address is very time saving in an office environment. Organizations usually send out many letters to employees, business partners, and clients. Many people assume it would be simpler to print out the address on stickers. But this proves wasteful because the toner for printers is far more expensive than stamp ink. Anyone sending out gifts or cards during the holidays or any special occasions can utilize address stamps to make their mailing experience easy.
Signature stamps are also very useful in the office and at home. A signature stamp is a stamp which displays your signature. Using it you can stamp your signature on any document with ease. You can give the stamp to a trustworthy co worker and have them endorse paperwork while you are not in the office. Being able to get paperwork signed and processed will help the flow of interoffice mail.
Another stamp that is very important to the business environment is the notary stamp. These kinds of stamps are used to verify the identity of anyone signing a document. In large corporations they use notary stamps to further authenticate a contract or agreement. This provides security against either party if the deal is broken. The document can be used in a court case as evidence as well.
Custom stamps are widely used by many artistic individuals. A custom stamp can contain anything such a name, personalized message or symbol. With a wide variety of fonts and inks to choose from custom stamps is a great way for one to express him or herself or create a unique way to label personal effects or artwork.
The rubber stamp is not an obsolete tool. It is still widely used by many different people for many different reasons. No matter what you do or where you work, you can find many uses in a rubber stamp. With the wide selection of stamps available it will make your life easier.

Many people assume that rubber stamps are no longer used in today’s day and age. But on the contrary rubber stamps still have a place in the world whether its at the office or at home they are still very useful tools.
There are many different designs and types of rubber stamps. There are the classic wood handled rubber stamps. This type of stamp has to be pressed against an ink pad before it can be stamped. With the introduction of more advanced rubber stamps the classic wood stamp is usually chosen for its artistic qualities. The two latest additions to the rubber stamp family are the self inking stamp and pre inked stamps. The self inking stamps have a mechanism inside the contraption which applies the ink to the rubber each time you press to make an imprint. Pre inked stamps are made of a more absorbent material. The ink is integrated into the rubber of the stamp and will only need a replacement once the sponge like rubber has completely dried up.
Address stamps are convenient for people who plan to mail a large amount of items. This is especially useful for businesses. Using an address stamp is a good alternative than having to write out your address numerous amounts of times or even print it out on stickers (wasting paper and ink). Simply stamping all your outgoing mail will save a lot of time. Not only can businesses utilize address stamps but so can everyday people. An address stamp will come in handy if you need to mail many items during the holiday seasons. Rubber address stamps can make mailing out cards, gifts, packages, letters, invitations etc easier than ever.
Signing your name quickly is the function that a signature stamp has to offer. You can quickly endorse any document that would need your signature, such as a paycheck or contract. The signature stamp also allows anyone with access to the stamp to sign your name for you. You can give the stamp to a trusted co worker who can sign a document for you while you are away from the office. Thus saving time and ensuring the document will get processed as soon as possible.
Using a notary stamp a business can turn paperwork into an official document. A notary stamp is a sign of authenticity when signing a contract. When the company stamps it they are saying that it is indeed you who has signed the document.

Running a small business is no easy task. With a lack of workers many small business owners must perform many of the jobs themselves just to keep the company afloat. Many small business owners are their own salesman, secretary, and even web master. Many individuals thrive under such stressful conditions. But there is one job that can stop anyone in their tracks due to its intricacy. The job many small business owners dread doing is preparing tax forms. In big businesses this job is delegated to the highly trained accountants. But without one at your disposal you are going have to prepare your own taxes. Preparing your own tax forms may be a problem but the solution lies with the computer program QuickBooks offered by Intuit Inc. QuickBooks simplifies preparing taxes as well as keeping financial records for your business.
Ever since its commencement in the early 1980s Intuit Inc has been dedicated to bringing helpful solutions to financial management for all small companies in the form of computer programs. QuickBooks, Turbo Tax, and Quicken were all designed to help small businesses prepare taxes and even provide payroll processing applications. Intuit Inc also offers programs for professional accountants, such as ProSeries and LaCerte. Intuit Inc clearly is a company that wants to help individuals as much as possible with financial management.
Once you purchase the software you must first install QuickBooks in whichever computer you want to prepare the documents from. Ideally this would probably be your main work station in your office. After installing the program you must open the application to begin the process. You will be confronted by an automatic guide that will help you get started. First you will be instructed to fill out the necessary information such as the company name, phone number, address, etc. Upon completing the entry form you will be greeted with another automatic guide that will help you further begin the process of using QuickBooks.
After the setup you can begin entering in your primary bank account. This is important because you will need a storage place to receive electronic payments. Without it you wont be able to record your transactions that means your financial records will be incorrect inconveniencing you later on.
As well as inputting your banking information you will also need to record your clients by giving them each client accounts. By creating client accounts you will be able to successfully keep track of all your invoices and bills. QuickBooks has a limit of 20 client accounts. This is usually a sufficient amount of accounts for a small business. But if your particular business grows you have the option of upgrading your system to QuickBooks Pro which allows for more client accounts as well as more customization and advanced accounting features.
Once you get started setting up clients accounts, sending out invoices, and receiving payments QuickBooks is really a simple program to use. Using QuickBooks is a great way to manage the financial record for your small business. It takes all the headache out of being your own businesses accountant.

There are many phones available in the market right now. With such a plethora of choices one might have a hard time deciding what phone is right for them. One such company offering a wide array of choices is Blackberry. Each Blackberry has a numerous amounts of unique functions. This might make choosing a Blackberry phone hard. But the RIM Blackberry Curve 8300 is a great phone for anyone working in a business setting. The phone is absent of any media streaming capabilities. While this may deter some casual phone users, the phones clear focus on business applications make it great for anyone working for a large organization.
As found on most Blackberry Curves this one features a full QWERTY keyboard. The design of this keypad has been upgraded from previous models. The 8300 offers keys that are spaced farther apart allowing for more comfortable typing. A useful feature found on the phone is an automatic spell check. The spell check function alerts you of any spelling errors in emails, messages, memos, etc. Anyone sending out important business information will find this feature very useful. The trackball found on the phone is also improved allowing for better web surfing and navigation.
Most large organizations have an account on the Blackberry Enterprise Server. Anyone using a Blackberry Curve 8300 will have access to large amounts of electronic corporate documents as well as receive corporate email. Not only that but anyone using their company’s enterprise server can also use Microsoft Office. With being able to use Microsoft office on their phones a person can open and edit Word documents, Excel sheets, and even Power Point presentations on the go.
As mentioned earlier the phone does not support any media streaming. You will not be able to watch or listen to music off the internet. This is a big let down when compared to the amazing service V Cast has to offer. While you are still able to insert your own audio and video files into the phones 64MB flash card, it would have been nice to include the option for streaming media. The web browsing also suffers from this lack of 3G support, with load times of certain websites almost at a standstill.
The camera on the phone is sufficient. For any business person using the phone the camera might feel tacked on but it does offer a small variety of image capturing options as most camera phones do. The phone also lacks any video recording capabilities which again if you are using this phone in a corporate setting then the feature will not be missed.
If you want a phone that will help you with your business needs the RIM Blackberry Curve 8300 is right up your alley. Everyone else might want to steer clear. In this day and age phones can do anything and everything the heart desires, the average person might be disappointed with this phones lack of media sharing.
